HTC were the manufacturer of Google’s first Nexus smartphone (Nexus One). Google then tied up with Samsung ( Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus) and LG (Nexus 4 and Nesux 5). And now looks like Google is back with its old partner thanks to HTC’s One M8.
There have been rumors that Google has chosen LG for the Nexus 6 which is believed to be based off of LG’s upcoming LG G3. Reports also claim that the Nexus 6 could be based off of the just released HTC One M8.
There could be some truth to these rumors, as Google is rumored to have chosen HTC to build a high-end 8-inch Nexus tablet that will be released later this year, which is set to release in this July.
Google is prepping the Nexus 6 smartphone, which will be launched in the second half of 2014. Some say it will come with Android 4.5 Lollipop or Licorice. Everyone expects that this version of Nexus will be a lighter and bigger version than it’s predecessors.
We all will have to wait to see how these rumors play out. New things will come out soon and I will definitely keep you all updated with new stories.
