App Update | Google Keep : Now with Material Design Overhaul

Its time for you to check your reminders, notes and checklists once again, this time they might look different than the before. Reason is that Google is rolling out the update for the GOOGLE KEEP very soon, which add this app to the Material Design Family.

It’s been a couple of months Google is rolling out updates for their apps for the Material Design support, considering the launch of much awaited ‘Android Lollipop 5.0’ in October.

After rolling out update for the Maps app, this time Google has announced the update for Google Keep, an app that helps you store the reminders, quick checklist, and also the notes. This app allows you to store audio and picture notes also.

The new update, Keep 3.0.01, gives away the Material Design feel as well as some interesting features like – search by note color. This feature, similar to the Google Keep web feature of searching notes (audio, checklist and video) is the major update to the app apart from the Material Design overhaul.

If you mistakenly archive any note/reminder then there is a snakebar to undo that, this is the new addition to the app. Also upon opening up the Keep app, you will notice the tinted status bar, this is just to match the shiny yellow color of the app.
Overall , the experience is pretty amazing. This new update is available through the Play Store, but you can download it from here directly. The link fr both is given in the description.
