Motorola has tasted some good success in the low budget smartphones category (below $150 or Rs.10,000) in last 3-5 years, making an exceptional mark there with Moto E. Now learning from their past experiences, they have come up with not two low budget smartphones this year – Moto C & Moto C Plus.
Both the mobiles were leaked on the internet last month and created a hype among the low budget smartphone buyers. Finally, Motorola has announced them and both, Moto C and Moto C Plus, will be made available from the beginning of the Spring in Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
Moto C sports a 5inch display at 854×480 ppi resolution, a Quad-COre MediaTek processor, a 5MP rear and a 2MP front facing camera. It has got 2,350mAh removable battery and it comes with the latest version of Android – Android Nougat. It will be made available in in four colors: Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold or Starry Black.
On the other hand, its big brother, Moto C Plus, packs 1280720 pixels in the same display size (5inch)! It comes with an option of expandable storage, up to 32GB, and the same processor as of its small brother. Motorola has managed to put a whopping 4000mAh battery in this variant and a dual sim facility. C Plus will also come with the latest version of Android – Android Nougat. C Plus will come out with an 8 MP rear and a 2MP front facing camera for selfies.
Motorola has embedded a flash beside the front facing camera of both the variants.
According to the company, 3G version (1GB RAM & 8 GB Storage) will be priced at €89 or ₹6200; whereas its 4G version with same sepcs will come out with €99 or ₹6999 price tag.
Moto C Plus is a higher version of Moto C, which will come out with €119 or ₹8400 price tag and sport double the storage capacity while running on the same RAM (1GB RAM & 16GB Storage).
