Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 is in news for a quite long time now. Galaxy Note 8 is nearing its official launch just a month away.We know almost everything about the phone by now, thanks to the leaks. A recent render leak discloses the Galaxy Note 8 camera design & fingerprint scanner position. From the renders it looks like Samsung has not learned from the criticism it faced for Galaxy 8‘s camera & fingerprint scanner design.
Galaxy Note 8 Camera Render
The renders suggest that the back of the phone will have a camera bump. It will be divided into two sections, one for the camera and another for a fingerprint scanner. Going with the trend, it seems Samsung is to put a dual camera at the back of Galaxy Note 8. The rendered image of camera bump does look good, but one cannot deny that it is wide and in the middle of nowhere! The two sensors are placed horizontally. The LED flash and the heart-rate sensor are placed to the right of the two sensors. Note 8 will have 12 MPs dual rear cameras.

Though the camera bump in the first picture is looking ugly, it necessary not be the final product! Remember, how ugly those Google Nexus 6P camera renders were! We all criticized that look, but when we got the phone in hand it was one of the distinctive features of the phone. Let’s hope this time again we get lucky. Check out below render the image, it definitely is drawing a positive picture.
So far the picture is good, we are ready to accept that camera bump. It’s not that big a deal for many of us, but the position of fingerprint scanner! The fingerprint scanner is again placed beside the dual camera setup. Samsung faced sharp criticism over the position of a fingerprint scanner in Galaxy S8 and S8+. It is very difficult for the users of S8 & S8+ to reach out there unless they got the hands of MKBHD 😉.
Though we may mock Samsung for this act, they have their own reason to put fingerprint scanner up there. Samsung wanted to integrate fingerprint scanner right into the display, but they could not get the necessary tech required for this feature in time. And thus were forced to put the fingerprint scanner back of the phone just like Galaxy S8. Therefore Galaxy Note fans will have to ignore this nuisance for the love towards the Note series.
From other leaks so far, we almost everything about Galaxy Note 8. Here is a short recap.
