Soon LG V30 users from South Korea will be able to get a hands-on experience of Google’s latest Android sweet, Oreo 8.0. LG is reportedly going to make Android 8.0 Oreo available for LG V30 users, ZDNet reports.
If you are an LG V30 user, you can request for the update to the LG via Quick Help App, an official LG application for after-sales service app. Users can provide their feedback about the OS via the same app. LG will use these suggestions and feedbacks and try to apply them in the official release.
It will be interesting to see how much South Korean company modifies on top of the stock Android provided by Google. Although they have managed to reduce the number of bloatware in the last couple of years, LG is still notorious for drawing over stock Android.
Meanwhile, Google is gearing up for the next version of Android Oreo – 8.1. Google is planning to launch the latest version by the end of this year. As a result, they have made available Android 8.1 Oreo Developer Preview for Pixel and Nexus users in US.
